Gábor Pintér went after stories for his films to countries no one else has dared to during wars and at times when walls have not come down just yet. He earned his B.A. in Directing, Film, TV, Radio and Theatre from the Academy of Fine Arts, Univ. of Novi Sad, Yugoslavia and a B.A. in English Language and Literature, Faculty of Philosophy from the same university.

A natural-born art hedonist, he began his involvement in the film industry at the tender age of 16.

Tirelessly working in the film industry ever since, the list of his work is reduced to "just" the following: Director/Writer/Producer “Bosnia Blues – Confessions of an Actor Abroad” A 30 min portrait. A Co-production with ORF, Hungarian TV. With support from Eurimage & Documentary Media.

Director, Writer, Co-producer “White Faces” , documentary on blood-feuds shot on Super 16mm in Northern Albania for RAI for the series produced by Gil Rossellini. Co-production with Channel Four (UK), RAITRE (Italy), MTV (Hungary), British Film Institute, Cyprus Film Board and others. Also broadcast on VOX, 3 Sat and other TV stations.

As the representative of Hungarian Film Laboratories for five countries, Gabor Pinter was involved in the production and post production of over a dozen feature films in the region:
